The Brief
Well-being Works needed a website to take referrals and support their patients. They asked for live chat to support their clients easily. An essential part of the website was to adhere to GDPR whilst collecting information for self and GP referrals.

The Challenge
A challenge that we were aware off was ensuring sensitive, highly regulated data remained safe.
Also shortlisting live chat solutions was a challenge. We had to balance affordability and features. The charity wanted certain chat functions, but didn't have a large budget.

Our Task
We created a bespoke website design that incorporates tawk.to's live chat functionality. It was a free solution that incorporated all Well-being Works' requirements with the option to scale when the charity grows.
To ensure sensitive data was secure in transit and at rest made sure referral documents were only sent to one secure email address, not accessible by unauthorized parties. Also HTTP traffic was redirected to a HTTPS session to prevent potential man in the middle attacks.


The Results
Well-Being Works were impressed with the website solution we developed with their limited budget. We ensured the running costs were affordable for the charity and met all their design requirements.
