The Brief
Your Web Shield approached Tech Dream looking for a new website to facilitate enquiries for their new website scanning tool. Once we completed their website they took advanatage of our social media marketing to build up their social media and create some posts, before they took it in-house.
The Challenge
With Your Web Shield opting for a simplistic website style, the design and development of the website was easily completed. However, the SEO and social media was a challenge due to how competitive trying to promote a business with no phyiscal location is. Anybody can create software, so making Your Web Shield stand out was our priority.
Furthermore, with them just wanting minimal social media marketing, we knew building the brand’s trust from customers in a small period of time was going to be hard.
Our Task
The project began by carrying out some market research on Your Web Shield’s competitors. We analysed what was working well for their website and social media, ensuring we use those ideas for our client. The design and development was straight forward with the client wanting a minimalistic look.
We quickly created a content calendar to plan the social media efforts. Alongside this we setup the social media accounts with keywords in the bio to ensure it was found easily by new customers.
Finally, we worked on creating content for the client, analysing key trends and trying to see some positive results before handing over to the in-house team at Your Web Shield.
The Results
The website and SEO was a resounding success for Your Web Shield. We have seen an influx of new users since the website went live and the Your Web Shield brand is now much more popular in the industry. The social media marketing created a strong start for the business, building trust quickly by promoting the USPs and ensuring knowledge was shared to build engagement.
