The Brief
Event Fridge Hire came to us because they realised there was a gap in the market where fridge hiring companies had very poor websites, including themselves. They needed a website that automated the hire process, looked modern and ranked highly for local keywords like "Fridge Hire Durham".
The Challenge
The main challenge was Event Fridge Hire needed SEO results fast! They had already been struggling with poor website performance and couldn't maintain the business without a flow of enquiries. With other fridge hire companies in the area having established websites, it was going to be hard to outrank them quickly.
Also, with Event Fridge Hire relied heavily on access to their emails. Transferring the domain to our nameservers was going to be a challenge to ensure minimal downtime when working with a 3rd party developer who had nothing to gain from the process going smoothly.
Our Task
The first task was the market research. This involved analyisng competitor's high-ranking pages and what keywords were driving traffic to their site. Along with what website structure they had to ensure we were inline with industry standards. Next, we worked on the bespoke designs, creating an aesthetic website that had better functionality and visuals compared to EFH's competitors.
We took charge in transferring the domain, ensuring all stakeholders were communicated to and then managing the technical side to ensure downtime was kept to a minimal and out of business hours.
Finally, we worked on the SEO optimisation. Focusing on driving traffic to geographic related keywords and creating high-quality, searchable content to ensure the website was recognised by search engines quickly.
The Results
The results speak for themselves. A massive improvement in website performance has already been seen after less than a year of the new website being live. Featured snippets, improved click through rate and an incredible 70.3% increase in search impression. Lucy and Ed were very happy with the project and have decided to continue working with Tech Dream to ensure the website stays optimised and fresh content is regularily produced.
